Implant Options for Replacing Teeth
Dr. Knorr offers several options for replacing missing teeth, including dental implant-supported crowns, bridges and full-arch replacement teeth. Dental implants are the strongest, most natural-looking tooth replacement option.
Unlike dentures, implant-supported restorations don’t move aroundwhen you talk or eat, and they provide the needed jawbone stimulation to prevent bone loss.
Unlike dental bridges, they don't require cutting down of adjacent teeth to crown them to support the bridge.
Dr. Knorr offers a free consultation to discuss which option would work best for you.
Single tooth Replacement
When replacing a single tooth, Dr. Knorr recommends a dental implant topped with an aesthetic porcelain crown.
Implant Supported Bridge
For several adjacent teeth, Dr. Knorr uses either individual implants or an implant-supported bridge.
Replacing a Full Arch of Teeth
If you have an arch or two of teeth that are too difficult to save and need replacing, or if you wear dentures, you can take advantage of one of these full-arch solutions offered by Dr. Knorr.
Life-Changing DenturesSnap-in, Implant Supported Dentures
For patients needing to replace a full arch of teeth, Dr. Knorr can place dental implants in each arch that attach to a denture fitted with special attachments, allowing the patient to remove the denture at any time. It provides four times the chewing power of a regular denture and eliminates slippage and the need to use messy adhesives to hold the denture in place.
For the greatest stability and most lifelike function, Dr. Knorr provides full-arch, permanently fixed-in teeth. This option uses six to eight implants to support an arch of teeth and provides almost 100 percent chewing power.New Teeth in One Day
Dr. Knorr also offers permanently fixed-in new teeth in a single visit. This option provides patients with a full arch of replacement teeth that are securely attached to between four and six implants per arch for maximum stability. This is ideal for patients who have experienced a lot of bone loss. The New Teeth in One Day procedure takes advantage of available bone by using special long implants and can often be done without the need for any bone grafting.
“Dr. Knorr is very professional, does excellent work and has great people working for him. The removal of my bad upper and lower teeth was done with very minimal pain, and my new upper and lower fit quite well. My teeth haven’t looked this good in many years.”
